Industrial Grade Wireless Vacuum Sensor

$349.00

The Leap Sensors® industrial wireless vacuum sensor provides remote monitoring of vacuum, compound vacuum/pressure, and low-range absolute pressure applications. Gain real-time, accurate visibility into vacuum pumps, vacuum chambers, filtration systems, storage tanks, drying processes – anywhere remotely monitoring vacuum quality provides operational value.

The sensor node integrates with a wide range of WIKA vacuum sensors that have 4-20 mA and 0-10V outputs, or choose a WIKA gauge with analog output to link to your Leap wireless node. The Leap platform powers the connected sensor directly from the wireless node for a completely self-contained monitoring solution. External power source option is available if battery life is a concern.

  • Long battery life and low maintenance operation – approximately 5 years under typical operating conditions.
  • Gateway, cloud, API, and cellular connectivity options – get data in method that works best for your use.
  • Receive notifications via phone, text, or email
  • Identify performance issues before they become equipment failures.
  • Historical data and trend analysis provide actionable information to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Wireless Vacuum Sensor Specifications

  • Integrates with a wide range of WIKA vacuum sensors that have 4-20 mA and 0-10V outputs. Or choose a WIKA gauge with analog output.
  • Option to provide 0 to 24V to power the vacuum sensor from the Leap long-life battery – making the sensor truly wireless.  See the LP-1XXX option.
  • Industrial WIKA 4-20 mA A10 vacuum transducers are the most common sensor used with the Leap wireless node. See the A10 datasheet and a list of standard part numbers on the “Standard articles” tab on the A10 product page. Vacuum sensors are listed under compound or absolute pressure types.
  • Several vacuum sensor ranges are available, including:
    • -30 to 0 inches Hg vacuum
    • -30 inches Hg to +15 psi compound pressure
    • Positive ranges up to -30 inches Hg to +500 psi
    • 0.8 to 1.2 bar abs for near-atmospheric vacuum/pressure ranges
  • 24-bit resolution across the full range.
  • Contact Us to integrate an application-specific vacuum sensor with the Leap Sensors wireless system.
